The July 7th storm dropped just over an inch of rain in less than an hour (measured at Duncan Road).
The water in the intersection gets to be knee deep. Residents try to keep the storm drain inlets unclogged of leaves, clippings, and debris that washes downhill from Armory to the south and Clark Park to the west.
Cars often stall trying to ford the intersection. This one's going to make it through.
Water is over the curb east on Daniel half way to Prospect Ave. Residents have (mostly) learned to park above the high water mark when heavy rain is forcast.
The water tries to find the historic stream bed, which is now filled with fences, trees, garges. And the new construction continues.
In this picture the water is flowing to the left near the bottom.
What would it take to stop the flooding?
